Curriculum

At Chisholm Catholic College, we are guided by the principles of the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration (2019), which sets out a vision for a world-class education system that encourages and supports every student to be the very best they can be, no matter where they live or what kind of learning challenges they may face. This declaration underscores our commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment, integral to Catholic education.

We focus on developing our students through the key stages of their lives:

  • Middle School: We prioritise easing the transition to secondary school, ensuring students feel supported and confident during this critical period.
  • Senior School: Our curriculum is designed around career choices, future study options, and life pathways, helping students find their voice and place in the world as they mature into young adults.
As a Catholic school, we cater to the diverse learning needs of all students. We offer specialised programs and initiatives to support those with additional academic needs and students from families where languages other than English are spoken at home.

Aligned with the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration, Chisholm Catholic College strives to provide the best possible foundation for our students' future careers. Our Vocational Education and Training programs offer a wide range of career resources to help students achieve their aspirations.
