Chisholm Catholic College is a Year 7 to 12 co-educational College situated in Cornubia, Logan. As a Catholic community, we invite students and their parents to join our welcoming and inclusive community. Our FAMILY values seek to develop faith-filled young people who model our motto – Live Christ's Challenge.
Our website is designed to showcase our College to the wider community and provide information about ways in which we operate to meet the needs of our families. It is not intended to answer all of your questions about our College. Parents are encouraged to find out more by attending a Principal's Tour. I would be delighted to take you on a school tour to give thorough insight into our mission and focus on learning and teaching, as well as to view our College's facilities and surrounds.
As your child enters Chisholm Catholic College, you can be assured of our strong support and commitment to the personal success of each student. Our community focus and size, coupled with our Pastoral Care Program, provides greater opportunity to respond to the needs of each individual where positive relationships form the basis of all our interactions. The students are provided with the skills to be responsible decision makers through our Positive Behaviour for Learning framework.
At Chisholm Catholic College we provide a quality education for your child and encourage you, as parents, to build and maintain a strong, supportive connection with your child's teachers. This acknowledges the importance and value of education in your child's life. We encourage your involvement in the life of the College.
We provide a comprehensive curriculum that is reflective of the requirements of the Australian Curriculum. In later years, students are able to select a pathway that is most suited to their preferred future. The curriculum incorporates a Religious Education Program delivered across the year levels, integral to the faith life of the community. An extensive co-curricular program enables the students to actively participate in service, cultural and sporting activities.
Chisholm has a team of highly professional, experienced and dedicated staff members. We are very proud of them. They provide a wonderful mix of enthusiasm, energy and expertise to deliver a challenging and innovative curriculum in our technology rich learning environment. This is extremely important in ensuring that students attain the best possible academic results and are able to achieve their potential in whatever areas of study are chosen.
